During our trip to Dubai, Women Who Golf meets with Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht club. They were eager to chat to us about women’s golf in Dubai and what they have been up to at their course. Both us and Dubai Creek and Women Who Golf are super excited to be working together to promote more golf in the region, run social events and attract more women into golf, regardless of level and age.
The women’s league at Dubai Creek is a mix of ladies with all levels of golf and is always welcoming new members. Each year they have a new ladies caption who gets involved in planning fun events, tournaments and charities for the clubs. Being a closely connected ex-pat group in Dubai, there is always someone up for a hit of golf or a cheeky beverage on the 19th. The course is conveniently located in Dubai city, super easy to get to from all locations.
About Women’s Golf In Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club
Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club is a public golf course that you can easily access from the city. It’s about a 10-minute drive away from downtown Dubai. As many of their female members live in and around the course, meeting other women players can be easily coordinated.
There are () women members in Dubai Creek, and about that live in Dubai. During the golf season between (season), the lady caption coordinates events and tournaments for the members to join in on. Spread across the season the members have the opportunity to themed events, tournaments, social games and fundraisers.
Can You Rent Clubs?
Sure can, the team can hook you up with some clubs during your visit.
What are the prices?
Prices vary from season to season, during the summer months I recommend playing earlier as it does get steamy. There is also an option for night golf offered at their course but also at Emirates Golf Club which has a full 18 holes floodlight course.
How to meet other women golfers in Dubai?
You can get in contact with the golf club and explain you would like to meet with other golfers during your trip. They will be more than happy to get you set up and meet other women golfers.
Golf Academy
Dubai Creek has one of the first golfing academies in Dubai, perfect for beginners to experienced, you will be taken through various aspects of the game by your PGA Professional.
